The UK Government’s ECO (Energy Company Obligation) Scheme aims to improve the energy efficiency of homes by insulating and upgrading heating systems, which in turn helps to reduce energy bills.

Where does the funding come from?

The big six energy companies are obligated by law to cut down the UK’s carbon emissions.  Energy companies are providing the ECO scheme, as a way to tackle the carbon emissions by making energy saving home improvements like insulation, heating upgrades and renewables.

Grants available under the scheme – Insulation, Heating and Renewables.

  • Wall Insulation (Cavity Insulation or Solid Insulation)
  • Loft Insulation (Pitched Insulation and/or Flat Roof Insulation)
  • Room in Roof Insulation
  • Under Floor Insulation
  • GAS Boiler Replacements (For Non-Condensing Boilers to Combination Boilers)
  • Heating Controls
  • First Time GAS Central Heating
  • Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Modern Electric Storage Heater Replacement
  • Solar Panel
