Do Solar Panels Work in the UK?

Yes. Solar panels work in the UK because they use daylight to generate electricity, not just hot sunshine.

Although Solar panels usually produce more electricity during brighter summer months, they can continue generating energy throughout the year.

The amount of electricity produced depends on factors such as:

• Roof direction.
• Roof angle.
• Shading.
• The size of the Solar system.
• Local weather conditions.

Many homeowners across the East of England are exploring Solar because it can help improve energy efficiency and reduce reliance on electricity from the grid.

A professional Solar assessment can help you understand what may be suitable for your home.
